FlashClips is operated by Mariusz Karabanowicz ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our service, you are entering into an agreement with us.

By accessing or using FlashClips, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

3. Description of Service

FlashClips is a learning application that allows users to create flashcard-style clips from online videos (YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Streamable, Gumlet, and other supported platforms) and study them using spaced repetition algorithms. The service includes features for organizing clips into decks, sharing decks with other users, and tracking learning progress.

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of FlashClips, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Share content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to access the service without permission
• Share harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content

6. Content and Intellectual Property

FlashClips allows you to create clips referencing videos from supported platforms. You retain ownership of the decks and organizational structures you create. However, you acknowledge that the underlying video content belongs to its respective creators and is subject to each platform's Terms of Service.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

FlashClips offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are processed through our payment provider, Paddle. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms of service.

8. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with FlashClips, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal.

To request a refund, please contact us at support@flashclips.net with your account email and subscription details. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.

After the 14-day period, subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges, but no refund will be provided for the current billing period.

Refunds may be denied if we detect fraud, abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

FlashClips is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlashClips shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
